YouTube app now with HDR support for iPhone Xs and Xs Max

Owners of Apple’s new top smartphones can now enjoy HDR support from YouTube on their devices.

HDR describes videos with High Dynamic Range, i.e. high contrast range. Since the very good displays of these iPhones can reproduce colors and contrast well, YouTube has now implemented support for these devices in the last app update.

iPhone X is already there, so you should be able to enjoy it there as well. If you are looking for videos on YouTube just type “HDR” into your search.
