Configuration Gigaset Go Box 100 for Deutsche Glasfaser Voip Telephony
Do you have a Deutsche Glasfaser connection but a router without Voip? Then the Go Box 100 from Gigaset is a good buy. The advantage: it already offers a configuration profile for the connection to the telephony part of Deutsche Glasfaser.
First you need the letter with the technical contract details. On this letter you will find the data for SIP_USERNAME, SIP_PASSWORD and REGISTRAR. If you have made a number portability, pay attention to the date from which the data apply!
You can do this configuration via a registered handset or via the web interface. We show you the latter here because it is simpler. We assume that the Go Box 100 has registered a handset and is logged into the network. You can access the box via a browser at
There you go to Settings - Telephony - Connections and click on "Edit" at IP1.
Here you start the configuration wizard.
Select the appropriate country.
Then select your provider, in this case Deutsche Glasfaser.
And now, in the last step, enter the three data sets you provided at the beginning.
That's almost it.
Under Other settings you can see which server has already been automatically configured.
It is important to set the "profile IP1" for incoming and outgoing calls under Telephony - Number Assignment. Done!
You can also find further options in this instruction at the end.
