You pay for content and can dial it directly for viewing? Not if Apple plays a trailer first.
We also know this from other streaming services such as Amazon: You want to continue watching your series, select the appropriate episode, press play – and first you have to watch a trailer of a different series.
Advertising must seem to be.
This may of course be an understandable way for the streaming service to point out other content, but it is extremely annoying if you have already decided and just want to watch something.
Apple seems to have adopted this bad habit and sometimes shows trailers that are up to 30 seconds long and cannot be skipped in front of the actual videos. In our eyes this is not necessarily premium.
