Today there is an update that only affects a small number of iOS devices: the iPhone 8 Plus.
iOS had a small bug that caused the depth information not to be recorded when shooting with the camera app in portrait mode. This has now been fixed with iOS 12.3.2 and does not affect other iPhone models.
