Apple has released a firmware update for the AirPort Router series.
The wonderful AirPort Express and Extreme routers, which Apple has stopped selling since about a year, are still provided with firmware updates that take care of security.
The current update eliminates several security vulnerabilities, including some denial of service issues and the fact that resetting the AirPort routers (for resale, for example) did not delete all data.
The routers have to be updated as usual with the AirPort utility and should also show the waiting update through an orange glowing LED on the device.
