The first geekbench of the new iPad models has appeared and there are few surprises.
Since Apple uses the same A12 chip in the new iPads as in the current iPhones, the performance level is almost the same. So if you buy a new iPad (Air/mini) now, you get the fastest processor Apple currently produces for mobile devices and should be on the safe side for years to come.
So far it is not known whether the iPad 11.2 named iPad is the Air or mini, but in principle both devices should have the same technical data. There may be differences in the amount of memory used though: the tested model has 3 GB on board. This is exactly between the 4 GB of the Pro models and the 2 GB of the iPad from last year.
