Apple has launched a repair program for the iPhone X. It is aimed at owners whose iPhone X touchscreen is no longer functioning properly.
It is possible that either the entire display or parts of the display no longer respond properly to touch. There are also cases where inputs are registered even though the touchscreen is not touched at all. In these cases, Apple will replace the touchscreen free of charge.
You cannot check the serial number in this case – Apple will only exchange the touch screen if the error really occurs, as you can read on the official website for the exchange program.
However, Apple will cover this problem for up to three years after purchase – if the error occurs later, you can only try to settle it on a goodwill basis.
