Apple has added a handy little feature to macOS Monterey: a speed test that measures the speed of the Internet connection. As you can read here, this only requires a short trip to the terminal.
However, there are of course many users who don’t want to use the command line (or have too much respect for it). Or they just want to have a more aesthetically pleasing display. For those there is now a small tool from Sindre Sorhus called Speediness. It uses the underlying measurement function of macOS Monterey, but saves you the work with the terminal.
The best thing about it: it’s also free to download. Just check out the developer’s page here.
