Apple has a repair program for AirPods Pro that do not work as they should.
On the one hand, there can be cracking noises or hissing, or the active noise cancellation does not work or even has the opposite effect. If this is the case with yours, Apple simply exchanges them.
The AirPods Pro must have been produced before October 2020, which is the period when the production errors occurred more frequently. If you have the same problems with AirPods that were produced later, you can only hope for Apple’s goodwill.
