The current Safari version under iOS 14 now allows to translate websites into other languages. This feature is still marked as beta status and may still cause problems or may not run on all devices, but worked quite well in our test.
Using this function is very easy: if you have opened a website in Safari, just tap on the two As and choose “Translate website”. You will then be asked if you really want to switch on the function and then the website that is not in your native language should have been translated.
On macOS this Safari function also comes, but only with macOS 10.15 Big Sur, which is already coming soon.
