More and more manufacturers of digital cameras offer software for macOS, which allows to use an existing digital camera as a webcam.
From now on Olympus is also part of this club. The simple OM-D webcam named software is available for download here. Currently still in beta stage it should only work with the following camera models:
- OM-D E-M1X
- OM-D E-M1 Mark III
- OM-D E-M1 Mark II
- OM-D E-M1
- OM-D E-M5 Mark II
The software runs under 10.12 Sierra to 10.15 Catalina. It is also available for Windows 10 users in 64 and 32 bit versions.
