Logitech will launch a new product on the market this winter, which is supposed to make the home office easier: the Logi Dock. It combines a dock with many ports with a speakerphone, which is supposed to be particularly suitable for phone calls due to noise suppression. It can of course also be used as a normal speaker on the computer.
The following is available in terms of ports:
- 1 x HDMI v. 1.4b (Support 4K@60Hz HDR)
- 1 x DisplayPort 1.4 (Support 4K@60Hz HDR)
- 1 x USB-A 3.1 (5Gbps) with 7.5W
- 1 x USB-A 3.1 (5Gbps) with 4.5W
- 2 x USB-C 3.1 (5Gbps) with 4.5W
- 1 x USB-C 3.1 (5 Gbps) with 7.5W
- 1 x USB-C upstream
- 1 x Bluetooth button
- 1 x AC (230W, 19.5V)
Of course, a connected MacBook can also be charged with up to 100 watts. However, the price is not without: around the 400 dollars, the device should cost. Considering the fact that many monitors with an integrated hub already offer many of the listed connections, hide them invisibly behind the display and often also bring a network connection, the question remains whether such a speakerphone is worth so much money to you.
If the answer is no, but you still need an excellent speaker for your home office and can do without the other features because they are already covered in another way, here is our review of the eMeet Luna, a Bluetooth speaker made for the home office.
