The new Mac mini with M1 chip does not have a network connection with 10 Gigabit speed.
As we have already written here, Apple replaces the entry level devices with their own M1 chip instead of the Intel CPU. But this chip seems to have some disadvantages: there are a maximum of two ports, a maximum of 16 GB memory and now also with the Mac mini no 10 Gigabit Ethernet anymore.
Once you get used to the new network world (an overview of suitable switches can be found here), you don’t want to go back. Of course you could use an external adapter, but since the new Mac mini also has two Thunderbolt 3 ports less, it could be a bit tight. So if you’re looking for a fast network, wait until Apple brings out the Macs with M2.
