The good news about Apple’s M1 chip just won’t stop.
They are efficient and seem to cut a good figure in every situation. Meanwhile it is also known that they can compile software as fast as a Mac Pro (!) from 2019 – and that with extremely low power consumption. This strong advancement of CPU performance while reducing power consumption has become rare nowadays.
Here we have two detailed videos for you, which show the performance of the M1 chip using different CPU and GPU load tests. It’s almost unbelievable that the graphics card only consumes around seven watts instead of 50 as in the Intel MacBook Pro 16″. The upcoming Apple Silicon Chips should put Intel as a chip manufacturer even more under pressure.
