If you have a MacBook Pro in 15 inches from 2015 you should contact Apple: the battery can catch fire.
Apple recalls batteries from mid-2015 series devices (model number A1398). They can overheat and catch fire. An exchange is therefore advisable. Affected models were sold between September 2015 and February 2017.
In this case you should refrain from using the device any longer and store it with an empty battery until it has been replaced by Apple. According to Apple, the 13″ model of the series is not affected by this problem.
