Steam got their own link app into the App Store after some arguments with Apple.
With this app it is now possible to stream Steam games running on a Mac to an iPhone or iPad. So you let the Mac do the computing and stream the result to the small mobile devices via your home network.
This works surprisingly well and allows even relatively hardware-hungry games to “run” on the iPhone or iPad (technically it’s just a stream). A nice concept that Steam came up with. To game like this, the iDevice must be equipped with at least iOS 10 and Steam must logically run on your computer.
