If you have an old Mac on which macOS Mojave is officially no longer supported, you can use the Mojave Patcher Tool.

Mojave Patcher Updater 10.14.4

This tool, provided by dosdude1, makes it very easy to install the latest Apple operating system even on older Macs. We’ll show you how to do it here. The tool has now been adapted to macOS 10.14.4. So you can now create a USB stick as an installer with the latest macOS version and then simply install the update over an existing version. The latter is the safest version we would recommend.

Another new feature of the updated Mojave Patcher tool: it now supports the Broadcom BCM4321 WLAN module, for which there was no support before, so you would have had to use a cable connection or an external WLAN stick like one of these here. The bottom line is that the great work of dosdude1 gives you the latest 10.14.4 without any cutbacks, even on old Macs.
