Apple offers vouchers with their products over the weekend, so you can get them cheaper.

Apple Shopping Event

Apple doesn’t offer a device directly cheaper, but you can save some money with a future purchase. Apple will send you a voucher with the following value:

  • iPhone 7 and 8 – 50 dollars
  • iPad – 100 dollars
  • Mac – 200 dollars
  • Apple Watch Series 3 – 50 dollars
  • HomePod, Apple TV – 25-50 dollars
  • Beats Headphones – 50 dollars
    • As you can see, the offers are not valid for the complete product range, but only for selected devices. For example, the iPhones 7 and 8 and the Apple Watch Series 3 – only older devices. An Apple Watch Series 4 or an iPhone Xs (Max) or Xr is only available at the normal price without a voucher.

The same applies to the iPads: the new iPad Pro is also excluded from the offer here.

The Macs lack the new MacBook Air (we would rather recommend the Pro anyway) and also the new Mac mini. But for the old MacBook Air it could be worth it: with the 200 Euro discount the device costs 899 Euro.

But the limited product range doesn’t have to be bad: an iPhone 7 or 8 is an excellent smartphone that becomes even more attractive with a discount. However, the lack of the new iPad Pro is a pity. With the Macs you should pay attention and do the math, and with the Apple Watch Series 3 you can access it if you don’t need the latest model and didn’t want to spend so much anyway. The 50 Euro discount makes the biggest impression here.

A little tip: if you are on the product page, there is no button “Buy” but only “Add”. This big blue button adds the product to your shopping cart, not Apple Care. Apple Care is added when you click on the blue word “Add” – a bit confusing. We thought first the button would add Apple Care and searched for the buy button – but it could also be due to too little coffee. 😉
