Users of Fujitsu scanners are somewhat out in the rain when using older models and cannot find up-to-date drivers. How about using another scanning program instead?
The software ExactScan offers itself as an alternative. Peculiarity: it comes with the drivers for different models built in! Of course not all of them are covered, but some of the devices defined by Fujitsu as electrical waste can be found in the list. Since the program is officially released for macOS 10.14, you have solved the problem. Also innumerable devices of other manufacturers are supported.
The program costs from 80 Euros up, but it can be tested before the purchase in detail. If you want to try it with original software from Fujitsu for your (officially no longer supported) scanner, you can try this software version. Sometimes this workaround is enough to persuade the scanner under Mojave to cooperate again.
