The two obvious improvements are the support of the upcoming release of macOS 10.14 Mojave and the improved efficiency of the VM. Windows and programs should start up 35% faster, suspend mode on APFS formatted drives should be up to 30% faster and starting Parallels Desktop 14 should even be up to 80% faster. Parallels also states that the software is now more economical with storage space, and several gigabytes should be saved.

Also new is the Touch Bar support for programs like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Visual Studio, OneNote and Visio, as well as improved OpenGL support for the following graphics programs: SketchUp Pro, OriginLab, DIALux 8, DELFTship and CTvox.

For the Update Parallels charges just under 50 dollars, for the Pro version with more functions just under 50 dollars per year in a subscription model. If you have never used Parallels before, an initial purchase costs just under 80 dollars.
