Apple has opened its first store in Milan. The building follows a new design structure.
The opening will take place this whole week in the presence of invited artists in the Apple Piazza Liberty named store. The design of the externally visible part is based on the previous Apple stores with glass as the main material. However, in Milan it has been made a little narrower and more reserved in order to fit in better with the beautiful old town.
The mentioned new design structure however refers to the interior of the new store. This is now divided into three areas: Genius Grove, The Forum and The Avenue. The first section is for support, the forum for courses and the latter for shopping. This division will probably be used in all new stores.
