Disk Station Manager for Synology NAS systems is about to receive a security update.

As Synology announces, it closes several security holes. Firstly, an issue was discovered in the Linux kernel used, and secondly, issues in the system that made it possible to execute unwanted commands.

The update has the name 6.2-23739-1 and is already available for some users, others should be available soon. If you have not set your Disk Station to automatic updates, now is the time to check for it.
