Apple has released iOS version 11.4. Especially HomePod owners should be happy: the new version brings AirPlay 2!
It is now also possible to use Multi Room Audio from iOS or to connect two HomePods for stereo playback. A long desired feature. Practical for everyone in Germany: Before the HomePod makes it to the country on June 18 it has already gotten all the functions – so it was worth the wait.
There are also updates for other operating systems like macOS 10.13.5, watchOS 4.3.1 and tvOS 11.4, which now also support AirPlay 2.
