FileMaker now offers its database solution in version 18.
The extensively configurable database system, whose creator belongs to Apple, has received some new functions in the current version. It is now possible to import data more easily. Instead of drag and drop, you can now simply enter the beginnings of values.
Furthermore, many previously required plugins are omitted and migrate to the main program. Now you can use skips that can read and write external data. Also very useful for everyday use: FileMaker files are now automatically restored in the event of a hardware or software crash.
The very powerful, for smaller entrepreneurs however not completely cheap solution can be tested for 45 days . However, FileMaker is still the first choice for somewhat larger medium-sized companies.
