Amazon and Google introduce a free radio stream for your smart speakers.
As Amazon announces, it is now possible for users in the USA to listen to music without having a Prime Membership or Amazon Music Unlimited subscription. With an Alexa loudspeaker you can still listen to music streams which are financed by advertising.
Also Google introduces such a service via its Google Home Speaker. Also here the service is financed over advertisement. The advantage of the Google offer: it is not limited only to the USA, but also available in Canada, Mexico, Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Japan, the Netherlands and Austria.
