If mice are too old-fashioned for you and trackpads don’t fit either, you can choose the third input alternative: A trackball. Logitech offers an ergonomic model.
The device called MX Ergo is related to the ergonomic mouse MX Vertical already introduced here – but just for trackball fans. To make this input device ergonomic, Logitech has made it possible to change the wrist-rest angle by up to twenty degrees. This allows every user to adjust the inclination as he or she like it.
The whole thing is connected to Mac via Bluetooth 4.2 or optionally with the enclosed Unify radio receiver. The battery life should last up to four months, should the current memory be empty at the beginning of the working day nevertheless times is sufficient a minute charge for a whole day function. In contrast to the MX Vertical Mouse, the trackball of the operating system version is a bit more modest: at least 10.12 is required for operation.
The trackball is available for less than 80 dollars on Amazon.
