If you own an iPhone 8 that has unexpected reboots, a frozen screen, or doesn’t work at all? Apple now offers a repair program for these problems.

According to Apple, these problems are due to a faulty logic board. Affected devices were only sold in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Macau, New Zealand and the USA between September 2017 and March 2018.
However, you may live in another country and have purchased an iPhone 8 in one of the countries mentioned, which now shows this fault. In this case you can still contact Apple, of course, the mobile devices are covered by Apple’s services worldwide.
This repair program only applies to the iPhone 8, not to the Plus model. By entering the serial number you can check on this official site if your model is covered by the repair program. Apple will then repair free of charge for up to three years after purchase.
