You want to see the inside of the Mac Studio? Max Tech has a nice video for you.
The teardown shows how the Mac Studio was constructed. As usual with Apple products, the Mac Studio is beautifully built. What is striking is that almost everything is screwed and almost nothing is glued. Even the SSDs are just plugged in. Whether that means they can be upgraded later remains to be seen.
The huge heat sink on the Apple Silicon M1 Ultra chip, which is also immense, is also impressive. Here you can see that the primary goal was to be able to dissipate the processor’s waste heat as quickly as possible. More than half of the interior volume is taken up by the cooling system. In everyday life this will have a very positive influence on a quiet office.
