Apple is currently ending sales activities in Russia. If you want to buy a product on Apple’s Russian website, the message “в настоящее время недоступно” appears in front of the greyed-out purchase button – currently not available.
A few days ago, the Ukrainian Prime Minister asked Apple on Twitter for support through sanctions, which Apple is now delivering. At the same time, all apps from Russian broadcasters, such as RT, are to be removed from the App Store, with the exception of Russia itself.
The current situation is developing very quickly and many companies and governments are trying to use the means at their disposal to persuade Russia to give in. The Apple sales stop should be a clear sign that can be directly perceived in everyday life.
