Ukraine want to get Apple in on sanctions.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov has written an open letter to Tim Cook asking for sanctions from Apple’s side to Russia asks.

Fedorov writes in his letter that in the heart of Europe, Russia is attacking ordinary neighborhoods, kindergartens and hospitals. He also writes that modern technology is the best answer to tanks and missiles these days. Therefore, he asks Tim Cook to stop all services and sales of products in Russia. Access to the App Store should also be restricted. The prime minister expects that this will motivate the younger and active population to raise their voices against the war of aggression.

Experts actually assume that sanctions, especially those introduced by the EU, are very effective means of counteracting aggressive acts of war. It is expected that particularly rich and influential Russians will turn against Putin by restricting their access to European infrastructure.
