Accessories manufacturer Twelve South has a new USB-C hub with many ports on offer.
The idea was to create a little more order on the desk. So the hub comes with a relatively long USB-C cable, so that you can place the device where it is not necessarily in the field of vision. There are also enough ports, the following variants are available:
- 3x USB-A
- 1x Gigabit Ethernet
- 1x SD card
- 1x Micro SD card
- 1x 4K HDMI with 30 Hz
- 1x USB-C Upstream Port
As you can see, this model also has the limitation that at 4K resolution the frame rate is only 30 Hz. This makes it suitable for either lower resolutions or applications that work a lot with static content, such as a presentation. There are also no other USB-C ports.
The hub is expected to cost around $100 and will be available shortly.
