The small and popular managed switch Netgear GS105E v2 can be taught in German and Japanese with a firmware update.
Version 1.6.0.3 includes this feature. Now the small switch can speak two languages besides English. It is interesting that they are German and Japanese and not the more common ones like Spanish or Chinese.
In any case it’s a nice update that not only fixes bugs but also optimizes the connection to humans. A nice touch from Netgear.
You can download the update on the GS105E v2 page of Netgear. Make sure that you have v2 model, the first version of the switch doesn’t tolerate this update.
