You have Safari on your Mac, of course. You maybe removed Google’s Chrome to get a bit more privacy and installed Firefox. Today though, we show you a nice little feature in the third browser that is always installed on our Macs: Opera.

And this cool browser not only offers build-in ad blocker and free VPN connections (!) it also offers the option “Battery Saver”. You can activate it the advanced preferences and then – Opera’s own words – save battery.

As Safari is very efficient already, this feature is not new, just because you can manually set the option. The idea behind it shows however, that Opera is one of the most thought through browsers that is out there. When using, we found that Safari and Opera really are the most efficient programs to surf the net. So if you want a cool and rock stable browser alternative: you found it.
