Samsung introduces a new 34″ monitor in curved format. The aspect ratio is 21:9 and the display can also be connected via Thunderbolt 3.
Since the monitor has two Thunderbolt 3 ports, Daisy Chaining is also possible, i.e. the connection of another Thunderbolt 3 device to the monitor. If you prefer other graphic ports, you will find them in the form of HDMI and Display Port. Two USB 2.0 ports and a few 7 watt speakers are available as output.
The resolution of the 34″ diagonal is 3440 x 1440 pixels – much lower than Apple’s 4K or even 5K models from LG. However, if you don’t have such high resolution requirements and find the curved design and aspect ratio more important, you could be happy with this model.
