Technical progress is fast: shortly after ChatGPT was released for public use, Microsoft invested in the company and acquired the possibility to integrate artificial intelligence into its own search engine.
This has now already been done. So Bing can answer complex questions and also gets its own tab in the overview called “Chat” which allows more advanced conversations. Currently, however, you may have to register and be put on a waiting list.
This step puts a lot of pressure on Google – the company is working on an alternative to ChatGPT, which should be launched as soon as possible. However, one note should be given when communicating with an artificial intelligence: don’t believe everything it says. It may very well be that the answers are not always 100% correct – or sometimes completely wrong.
