Parallels Desktop 18 has been adapted for the future: the virtualisation solution gets explicit support from the M1 Ultra and should thus almost double its performance. Many Windows 11 users will be pleased to know that the operating system should be able to be downloaded and installed in a virtual machine with a single click of the mouse. In addition, Parallels Desktop 18 will run on the coming macOS Ventura.
Prices start at $99 for a purchase of the smallest private user version. The better versions cost from just under $120 a year for a subscription.
