As Microsoft writes the same technique is now used for the program as for the own cloud solution OneDrive. This makes sharing and synchronizing data between Windows 10 devices and iOS or macOS devices more efficient and reliable.
Many will wonder why iCloud for Windows exists at all. The market shares give the answer: although iPhones are very common, they are not that many computers with macOS. Microsoft still holds the largest share with Windows. iCloud for Windows simply allows to connect the two ecosystems. And it’s nice to see that the cooperation between the two large companies is being further expanded and developed in the interests of the customer.
