Asus Router basic settings DSL
The Asus routers are easy to set up. When you start them for the first time (or after a complete reset), they should ask you for the access type (PPPoE) and your data. This should allow you to log in directly.
f your ISP requires a VLAN ID (like Telekom requires 7) check the box Special Requirement from ISP and then "Manual" - you may also be able to select your provider from the list.
Then enter the corresponding VLAN ID into the field.
