iMac comes back scratched from repair
I love having my stuff repaired, because, well, it is kind of sustainable and I just like the products I bought. Therefore, I am very gently when handling my things so they last a long time.
Now I made a bad experience with one iMac repair. I got the machine back - with a scratched backside. I know it is just a machine and it still works fine (again) but the fact that I used it over six years looking like new and now it looks that makes me a bid sad.
What is your experience with technicians? Do you prepare you machines for repair with a foil or something? I think I have to cover my Macs the next time in some adhesive plastic or the like.

Oh man that would drive me crazy. I hate when that happens. Your idea of covering the machine beforehand is quite good.
